CALL THE MEETING PARTY.

[1. To Discuss the renovations for the Kaufman County Historic Courthouse. (Part 1 of 2)]

LET'S NINE O'CLOCK.

THIS IS A WORKSHOP AND WE'RE HOLDING AT THE KAUFMAN COUNTY ANNEX BUILDING.

UH, WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY PLEDGES OR PRAYERS OR ANYTHING THIS MORNING, SO WE'LL GET RIGHT INTO THE AGENDA.

NUMBER ONE, IT'S DISCUSSED IN RENOVATIONS OF THE KAUFMAN COUNTY HISTORICAL COURTHOUSE.

SO Y'ALL ALL HAVE IN FRONT OF YOU DRAWINGS.

LET'S SEE, O K'S HERE.

UH, GREG'S HERE WITH GALLAGHER AND YOU ARE COFFIN HAROLD, KAPIN.

HAROLD, JACK, AND NEXT TO YOU.

KIRK.

KIRK, YES.

I MET YOU ONCE BEFORE.

OKAY.

THANK YOU.

OKAY.

I'VE GIVEN FLOOR PLANS TO EACH OF Y'ALL THAT Y'ALL HAD ABOUT A WEEK TO GO OVER AND LOOK.

SO LET'S OPEN IT UP FOR A DISCUSSION AND SEE WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE AND GO FROM HERE.

OKAY.

WELL, I GUESS I'LL GO AHEAD AND START.

OKAY.

AND, UH, I, AS FAR AS THE LAYOUT AND WHERE THE OFFICES ARE, I REALLY DON'T HAVE A LOT OF PREFERENCE AS FAR AS LOCATIONS AND STUFF LIKE THAT.

ALL RIGHT.

I THINK MY BIGGEST PRIORITY OUTTA THIS WHOLE DEAL IS THAT WITH THE HISTORIC COURTHOUSE THAT WE TAKE CARE OF, THE ELECTRICAL, THE PLUMBING, H V A C, ALL OF THE, THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE BUILDING, THAT THAT GETS TOTALLY REDONE.

OKAY.

AND NOT HALFWAY REDONE.

THAT, THAT'S KIND OF WHERE I'M AT THERE.

AS FAR AS THE BUILDING ITSELF, WHERE MY OFFICE IS OR WHERE ANYBODY ELSE, I, I REALLY DON'T CARE A WHOLE LOT EXCEPT A BIG DEAL FOR ME THAT WE HAD TALKED ABOUT WITH THE PREVIOUS COURT IS THAT EVERYTHING THAT WE DO IN THE COUNTY THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO STRIP FOR, UH, I E GO THROUGH THE METAL DETECTOR, METAL DETECTOR STUFF, AND EVERYTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE WHERE THE PUBLIC HAS ACCESS TO IT WITHOUT HAVING TO DO ALL THAT AND GO THROUGH ALL THAT HOOPLA.

SO, I MEAN, WE, YOU KNOW, WHENEVER WE DO MARRIAGE LICENSES AND REAL ESTATE STUFF FOR REGISTER YOUR BRAND AND STUFF LIKE THAT, THERE'S NO REASON TO PUT MORE PEOPLE INTO A CROWDED SITUATION ALREADY OUT THERE TRAFFIC WISE.

AND WE'VE GOT A BRAND NEW BUILDING OUT THERE.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

WE LOVE PEOPLE TO SEE IT, BUT TRAFFIC IS GONNA BE AN ISSUE AND IT'S GONNA TAKE TIME TO SOLVE THOSE PROBLEMS. SO, YOU KNOW, WE TAKE SOME OF THAT TRAFFIC AWAY FROM THAT BUILDING AND THAT AREA AND THAT INTERSECTION.

AND WE HAVE MORE TRAFFIC LEFT HERE AROUND THE COURTHOUSE FOR THE ECONOMIC SITUATIONS WITH THE CITY OF KAUFMAN.

I MEAN, THERE'S SHOPS, THERE'S RESTAURANTS AND STUFF LIKE THAT.

WE HAVE PEOPLE COMING, GOING.

THEY SEE ALL OF THAT.

SO IT'S BE A BENEFIT FOR THE CITY OF KAUFMAN AND FOR THE RETAIL PEOPLE AROUND THE SQUARE TO HAVE MORE FACES COMING IN AND OUT OF THE HISTORIC COURTHOUSE.

THAT'S TRUE.

SO THAT'S PRETTY MUCH MY OWN, MY TWO BIDS IS THAT WE DO OUR BUSINESS THAT THE DAY-TO-DAY STUFF THAT DOESN'T IN INVOLVE REALLY LAW ENFORCEMENT OR BEING IN TROUBLE OR WHATEVER.

OKAY.

WE DO IT HERE.

AND THEN, AND AS FAR AS THE LAYOUT OF THE BUILDING, I REALLY HAVE NO PREFERENCE ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

ALL RIGHT, SKEE, WE'RE GONNA GO 1, 2, 3, 4.

OKAY.

WELL, I'M KIND OF IN AGREEMENT WITH MIKE.

I DON'T, I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF PREFERENCE EITHER, BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, AND I WANT THE AIR CONDITIONING AND THE ELECTRICAL AND ALL THAT BROUGHT UP TO DATE.

THERE'S NO QUESTION ABOUT ALL THAT.

UH, I THINK THAT WE OUGHT TO PUT ON THE FIRST FLOOR, BASICALLY THE PEOPLE THAT SEE PEOPLE AND THE SECOND FLOOR EMPLOYEES AND, YOU KNOW, KEEP THE, KEEP THE MAIN PART OF THE BUILDING THAT THE PUBLIC COMES TO ON THE FIRST FLOOR, WHERE THE ELEVATORS AND ALL THAT STUFF.

AND THAT WAY, IF YOU WANT THE EMPLOYEES TO HAVE SOME KIND OF PRIVATE ACCESS FOR THE SECOND FLOOR, THEN THAT'S THE WAY THAT COULD WORK OUT.

AND I'M IN AGREEMENT.

I THINK THAT MOVING EVERYTHING OUT TO WHERE YOU, UH, YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH SO MUCH SECURITY AND BAD PARKING AND BAD DRIVING WAS A MISTAKE.

UM, SO, YOU KNOW, UH, I THINK WE OUGHT TO BRING SOME OF THE COUNTY RECORDS BACK TO THE COURTHOUSE.

SOME OF THE THINGS THAT DO, NOT NECESSARILY RECORDS, BUT BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND, AND, UH, DIFFERENT THINGS, MARRIAGE LICENSE, ALL THAT KIND OF STUFF FOR PUBLIC ASSETS, PROBABLY EVEN THE REAL ESTATE PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT TO COME AND VIEW THE INTERNET AND SEARCH RECORDS AND THINGS.

YOU KNOW, I THINK, UH, WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.

THE, UM, UH, ALSO I THINK THAT, UH, AND I HAD A LITTLE BIT OF PROBLEM WITH, I THINK WHEN YOU WALK IN, I THINK THAT OUR COURT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE STRAIGHT IN THE MIDDLE AND ELECTIONS, UH, THERE'S, THERE'S NOT ROOM FOR ELECTIONS THE WAY SHE WANTS TO SPREAD OUT THE THINGS IN THERE.

IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ELECTIONS IN THERE, YOU KNOW?

[00:05:01]

SO, UM, UH, Y'ALL KIND OF KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THAT.

UH, THE, UH, BUT ALSO, UH, WE NEED TO FIGURE OUT EXACTLY WHOSE OFFICES IS GOING TO BE IN THERE.

UH, SO I THINK EVERYBODY OUGHT TO TAKE THE EACH OFFICE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT OFFICE NEEDS TO BE IN THERE AND WHAT OFFICES PROBABLY NEED TO BE OVER HERE.

EXACTLY.

BECAUSE VEHICLES ARE A BIG INSTANT, YOU KNOW, WE HAVE CERTAIN DEPARTMENTS HAVE A LOT OF VEHICLES, AND IF THEY'RE GOING TO BE THERE, THEN WHERE ARE THEY GONNA PARK AND HOW FAR ALL OF 'EM HAVE TO WALK CONSTANTLY TO GET BACK AND FORTH TO THEIR VEHICLES AND DIFFERENT THINGS.

I MEAN, JUST TO MAKE SURE.

AND WE'RE GONNA KEEP BOTH BUILDINGS.

IF THEY'RE GONNA BE, IF WE'RE GONNA BE OVER HERE WITH THE TAX OFFICE, THEN UH, YOU MIGHT AS WELL HAVE THOSE KIND OF SERVICES OVER HERE THAT HAVE A LOT OF VEHICLES.

OKAY.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, UH, THAT'S JUST KIND OF WHERE I'M AT.

YEAH.

UH, I AGREE WITH MIKE AS FAR AS THE, UH, YOU KNOW, THE, THE HEART OF THE BUILDING GOES.

I THINK THE ELECTRICAL, HVAC, ALL THAT, AND PLUMBING'S REAL IMPORTANT.

ANOTHER THING THAT I THINK IS IMPORTANT, ONCE WE KIND OF FIGURE OUT WHO'S GOING TO BE OCCUPYING THIS BUILDING, THOSE FOLKS NEED TO BE INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS.

CAUSE THEY WEREN'T ON THE LAST ONE.

RIGHT.

AND WE NEED TO GET SOME INPUT FROM THEM ON WHAT THEY NEED, THE SPACE THEY NEED.

UH, YOU KNOW, DO THEY NEED FOUR DESKS IN THIS ROOM OR DO THEY JUST NEED TWO OR DO THEY NEED SIX? THEY NEED TO BE INVOLVED IN THAT PROCESS.

UM, AND THEN I, I'M THE SAME WAY AS FAR AS LAYOUT GOES.

I MEAN, I'M NOT GONNA BE USING THIS BUILDING, UH, YOU KNOW, FOR ANY OF MY BUSINESS OR ANYTHING.

BUT IT'S JUST, I, I LIKE THE IDEA OF IT BEING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, MORE OF A, UM, A CIVIL TYPE THING OVER THERE INSTEAD OF DEALING, YOU KNOW, WITH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SIDE, LIKE WE GOT THE NEWT COURTHOUSE FOR.

AND I THINK THAT ANYTHING THAT, UH, LIKE YOU SAID THAT YOU, YOU KNOW, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO STRIP DOWN FOR TO GET IN THE BUILDING NEEDS TO BE IN THAT BUILDING.

I AGREE WITH THAT A HUNDRED PERCENT.

TOMMY, YOU HAVE ANY THOUGHTS? UH, ONLY QUESTION THAT I, I WAS JUST LOOKING AT IS BEING THAT THERE'S THREE OF US ON THE COMMISSIONER'S COURT THAT'S GONNA BE IN THAT BUILDING, IF THAT'S GOING TO, AND DEBBIE MAY HAVE VAN SAT DOWN THE IMAGE OF A QUORUM.

SO I DIDN'T KNOW, IS THAT GONNA BE, I KNOW WE'RE NOT VISITING OR TALKING ABOUT COUNTY VISIT AT THE TIME, BUT IS IT, WOULD IT BE BETTER TO HAVE SEPARATE FLOORS THERE JUST TO NO, THAT DOESN'T MATTER.

YEAH.

MATTER.

OKAY.

AND THEN I THINK, UH, YOU GUYS HAVE COVERED MOST OF THE SAME THINGS I WAS THINKING AS WELL.

ONLY THING IS THE PARKING, I DIDN'T KNOW.

CAUSE IF YOU'RE, IF WE'RE BRINGING LIKE EVERYBODY HERE TO MAKE IT LIKE AN ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING, I THINK PARKING'S GONNA BE AN ISSUE.

SO I DON'T KNOW IF HOW WE'D ADDRESS THAT.

SO, WELL, PARKING IS GONNA BE AN ISSUE WHEREVER WE ARE.

IT ALREADY IS AT THE NEW JUSTICE CENTER.

UH, IT'S, IT'S, IT'S NOT GOOD OVER THERE AT ALL.

UH, AND THE SHERIFF WILL, UH, ELABORATE ON THAT TOMORROW, Y'ALL'S MEETING.

UH, I DO LIKE WHAT S***T SAID ABOUT COMMISSIONER'S COURT SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR INSTEAD OF THE TOP FLOOR AND POSSIBLY USE THE EXISTING COURTROOM.

IT'S THERE.

AND THEN THAT WOULD GIVE US ACCESS TO GO IN OUT OF THE BACK.

WE'RE NOT GOING THROUGH THE PUBLIC INSTEAD OF UP ON THE TOP FLOOR.

UH, THE REST OF IT, AGAIN, THE PEOPLE'S GONNA BE THERE, NEED TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS SPACE.

THEY NEED WHAT THEY DO NEED.

BUT THE MAIN THING IS THE ROOF.

H V A C AND ELECTRICAL AND THE DATA.

MAKE SURE THAT'S ADEQUATE.

CAUSE THAT'S AN OLD BUILDING.

UH, I THINK EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE A SAY IN WHERE THEY ARE THAT'S GONNA SUIT THE CITIZENS.

CUZ THIS IS WHAT THIS IS FOR, FOR THE CITIZENS, NOT JUST FOR US, THE EMPLOYEES.

UH, ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT, JACK IS ALREADY WORKING ON GETTING THE FRONT REMOVED FROM THE HISTORICAL COMMISSION.

SO THAT SHOULD COME OFF HOPEFULLY FOR THE NEXT TWO TO THREE MONTHS.

THAT'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.

SO THAT WILL GET US IN COMPLIANCE WITH, WITH THOSE FOLKS.

UH, HOPEFULLY, I WOULD THINK SO.

THAT WAS SOMETHING WE SHOULD HAVE.

I'M GO DIRECT THAT REAL QUICK.

SO ANY OF THE CONTRACTORS OR ARCHITECTURE YOU WANNA HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR US? YES, SIR.

FROM HERE? SURE.

UM, SURE.

UM, SO I GUESS WE, WE, WE SHOULD JUST SET UP SOME MEETINGS TO, WITH, WITH THE INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE GOING TO BE IN THE BUILDING SPECIFICALLY AND GO OVER THEIR SPACES AND MAKE SURE WE HAVE EVERYONE ACCOMMODATE AND THE NUMBER OF DESKS AND SEATS AND ALL THAT.

YES, SIR.

UH, AND THEN, UH, AS YOU SAID, WOULD YOU LIKE

[00:10:01]

US TO FOCUS ON THAT ONE COURTROOM, THAT EXISTING COURTROOM ON, ON THE FIRST FLOOR TO BE THE COMMISSIONER COURTROOM? YES, SIR.

REMAIN INSTEAD OF ON THE SIDE WHEN YES, SIR.

YEAH.

AND WE'RE GONNA LEAVE THE, THE BENCHES THAT'S IN THERE.

YEAH.

OKAY.

THAT, THAT LEAVES IT KIND OF HISTORICAL LOOKING.

SO MATTER OF FACT, YOU KNOW, AND, AND I KNOW, UH, I KNOW I'VE TALKED TO THE JUDGE ABOUT IT A LITTLE BIT, BUT HIS OFFICE IN THOSE OFFICES ALL CONNECT ALREADY AND THE CONFERENCE ROOM AND, AND WE FEEL AS THOUGH THAT THERE'S A, THERE'S ALSO A BATHROOM RIGHT ABOVE IT.

WE OUGHT TO BE ABLE TO STREAM BATHROOMS IN BETWEEN THE JUDGE'S OFFICE AND THE COURTROOM AND MAKE THE, HIS CONFERENCE ROOM BE OUR EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE ROOM BETWEEN THE TWO.

BASICALLY WE HAVE EXECUTIVE SESSIONS EXECUTIVE ALL BECAUSE HE WON'T USE IT AT THE SAME TIME, HIS EXECUTIVE SESSION.

SO, I MEAN, UH, THAT'S JUST WHAT IT WOULD BE.

I MEAN, IT MAKE IT SIMPLE AND NOT, NOT, YOU KNOW, HAVE TO REARRANGE THE WHOLE BILLING AND THE EVERY SINGLE WALL IN IT JUST TO SUIT, YOU KNOW.

I KNOW WE WANTED IT TO BE NICE, THERE'S NO QUESTION, BUT IT IS AN OLD BUILDING AND WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE GONNA BE DEALING WITH FOR THE NEXT 50 YEARS OR WHATEVER.

I MEAN, AS LONG AS IT CAN STAND, I GUESS, UM, IS BASICALLY IT.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, I DON'T KNOW, UH, AT WHAT POINT THAT THE BILLING EVER WOULD BE REMOVED OR WHATEVER, WHAT IT WOULD BE, YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING? AND SO, UH, MOVING IT OUT TO A WHOLE NEW WING AND YOU KNOW, TEARING IT OUT AND I DON'T KNOW, IT'S JUST, IT'S JUST A REAL EXTREME EXPENSE AND IT'S GONNA BE EXPENSIVE ANYWAY BECAUSE THE ELECTRICAL AND THE AIR CONDITIONING, CUZ IT'S NOT A BUILDING MADE FOR AIR CONDITIONING.

BUT ANOTHER POINT TOO IS WE WANT TO GET IT OPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

YEAH.

THAT DON'T MEAN TO RUSH THINGS AND HALFWAY DO THINGS, BUT, UH, IT NEEDS TO BE WHERE IF WE COULD BE IN IT BY THE END OF THE YEAR WOULD REALLY BE NICE.

BUT I DON'T KNOW IF WE CAN HIT THAT TARGET OR NOT, DEPENDING ON SUPPLY ISSUES.

UH, BUT YOU KNOW, IT'S IMPORTANT FOR THE DOWNTOWN, THE MERCHANTS TO HAVE PEOPLE HERE TO SUPPORT THEIR BUSINESS.

OKAY.

AT ONE POINT WE LOOKED AT EVEN THE, LIKE REPLACING THE SINGLE PANE WINDOWS WITH A, YOU KNOW, A NEW, UH, EXTERIOR WINDOWS SYSTEM.

RIGHT.

YOU WANT US TO CONSIDER THAT? I MEAN THAT'S, YOU KNOW, I HEAR FOCUSING ON THE BUILDING SYSTEMS, H V A C, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, YOU KNOW, BRINGING THINGS UP TO ADA WHERE THAT'S GOING TO HAVE TO HAPPEN.

YES.

UH, THOSE ARE BASICS.

AND THEN, YOU KNOW, IF WE CAN KEEP, YOU KNOW, SOME OF THE EXISTING, EXISTING COURTROOM AND YOU KNOW, WHERE IT'S AT FOR THE COMMISSIONER'S COURTROOM, UM, TWO COMMISSIONERS IN THERE PLUS THE COUNTY JUDGE.

IS THAT WHAT WE WE'RE LOOKING AT? I THINK THAT'S WHAT'S ON THE PLAN.

I THINK WE'RE PLANNING PAM DO YOU KNOW IF THERE'S AN ISSUE WITH COMMISSION ON THE WINDOWS THERE? THERE COULD BE.

THEY WOULD WANT TO, UM, BE PART OF THE CONVERSATION.

I WAS JUST ON THE PHONE WITH THEM IN THE PARKING LOT AND WE CAN DEFINITELY ASK THEM TO COME DOWN AND VISIT OR, UM, MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE GETS CONNECTED.

I DON'T WANT TO US TO, IF WE TAKE ANY MONEY FROM 'EM, THEN WE HAVE TO REALLY BE RESTRICTIVE WHAT WE CAN AND CAN'T DO.

SO I DON'T WANNA GO DOWN THAT ROAD.

RIGHT.

YEAH.

BUT IT'S IMPORTANT TO MAKE IT ENERGY EFFICIENT.

WE'RE GONNA DO ALL THIS OTHER STUFF.

WHY WOULD YOU NOT PUT ENERGY EFFICIENT WINDOWS IN IT? CUZ THERE'S SO MANY OVER THERE.

THERE'S A LOT.

IT'S, IT'S A CURTAIN WALL SYSTEM ACTUALLY.

SO IT'S UH, IT'S A PRETTY BIG ENDEAVOR TO YEAH.

KEEP ALL THAT.

YEAH.

I RECALL CORRECTLY THE LAST TIME THAT WE TALKED ABOUT THIS, THE WINDOW SYSTEM WAS LIKE 7 MILLION.

WASN'T THAT A NUMBER THAT WAS THROWN AT US? NO.

NOT INCORRECT.

NO, I DON'T THINK SO.

I THINK OUR ESTIMATE PUT A BUDGET OF 900,000 OR SOMETHING.

WAS THAT IT? OKAY.

BUT THAT'S, THAT'S THAT CENTRAL THAT'S COMPLETELY TAKEN THE OTHER WINDOWS OUT AND PUTTING NEW WINDOWS IN.

YEAH.

YOU IN.

BUT YOU KNOW, UM, IN DOWNTOWN DALLAS I HAD INTEREST IN A BUILDING AND THEY CAME IN CUZ IT WAS ON A HISTORICAL THING AND THEY WENT INSIDE AND PUT A WINDOW ON THE INSIDE AND LEFT THE OUTSIDE AND DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH IT.

MICROPHONE? YES.

I CAN'T HEAR YOU CAN'T HEAR.

OH, I'M SORRY.

AND, AND, AND, AND THEY LEFT THE OUTSIDE ALONE AND THEY CAME INSIDE AND PUT UP A, A WINDOW, AN ADDITIONAL LAYER, A LAYER WINDOW ON THE INSIDE THAT MADE THE INSULATION.

AND MAYBE THAT'S SOMETHING YOU COULD LOOK AT.

AND THEN THEY FIXED IT EVEN WHERE THEY COULD ACTUALLY, UH, YOU KNOW, OPEN THE WINDOW AND GET AFTER OPEN, OPEN THE WINDOWS AND CLEAN THEM.

OTHER WORDS.

AND I, I DON'T REMEMBER EXACTLY HOW IT WORKED, BUT IT, UH,

[00:15:01]

AND THAT'S BEEN A LONG TIME AGO AND THEY DID THAT.

OKAY.

WE CAN LOOK AT THAT AND SEE WHAT KIND OF OPTION, YOU KNOW, WHAT, INSTEAD OF THAT WOULD SAVE US SOME MONEY AND STILL GET SLID OR SOMETHING.

YEAH.

IT, YEAH.

IF IT SAVES MONEY OR I MEAN, SAVES MONEY IF WE'RE HAVING TO BUILD SOMETHING, UH, IN YEAH, WE'LL WE'LL LOOK AT IT.

I MEAN THE, CAUSE THE WINDOWS, SEALS, I THINK WERE PRETTY BIG IN THE, IN IN THAT BUILDING.

I, I DON'T, I'M SITTING THERE THINKING, I'M THINKING IN, EVEN IN THIS ONE, IF YOU, IF YOU'RE TAKING OUT THE OTHER, YOU'VE GOT A BIG SPACE BETWEEN IN THE WINDOWS, IS THAT CORRECT? I MEAN, YOU, YOU'VE BEEN IN IT A LOT AND DRAWN IT I THINK, BUT, UH, WELL, THERE'S SOMETHING WE CAN LOOK AT.

YEAH.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, I'M JUST, IF YOU DON'T MIND, IT'S JUST A SUGGESTION.

I DON'T HAVE A CLUE.

UH, IF IT'S A VIABLE MORE RESTROOMS IS VI VERY VITAL YES.

OTHER THAN WHAT'S THERE, RIGHT? YES.

YEAH.

AND AND YOU STILL HAVE, I MEAN, YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HISTORICAL COMMISSION AFTER WHERE WE WERE ON THE MM-HMM.

, THE ZOOM MEETING AND STUFF.

YEP.

WE'RE, THEY'RE JUST, YOU KNOW, THERE'S A STATUTE THAT SAYS THAT YOU HAD TO PRESENT THE PLANS AND THEY HAVE YEAH.

X AMOUNT OF MONTHS TO REVIEW THE PLANS.

SO I, MY BIG DEAL IS TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND THAT WAY, CUZ LEGALLY THEY CAN DRAW THIS OUT FOR SIX MONTHS LOOKING AT PLANS AND IF WE HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM, I MEAN ALL THAT STATUTE DOES IS IT MAKES US HAVE THE CONVERSATION WITH THEM.

MM-HMM.

WHAT WE DECIDE TO DO WITH THAT CONVERSATION.

IF WE DON'T TAKE MONEY.

RIGHT.

WE CAN DO RIGHT.

BUT WE WANT A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM AND I THINK PAM'S GONNA ASK THEM TO COME UP YEAH.

AND VISIT.

YES.

YES.

SO, BUT, YOU KNOW, WE JUST NEED TO MAINTAIN THAT, THAT RELATIONSHIP CUZ THERE'S, THERE'S SOME THINGS AND, AND WHAT I REMEMBER ABOUT THE ZOOM MEETING THAT YOU WERE IN, AND I FOR YOU THERE TOO, THEY WEREN'T ASKING FOR A LOT OF CONSIDERATION AT ALL.

NO, THEY WERE BASICALLY, IT WAS JUST, AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE GREEN TILE DEAL, BUT EVIDENTLY THIS IS SOMETHING THAT'S REALLY, REALLY SPECIAL SO MM-HMM.

, I, YOU KNOW, I'M NOT THAT GUY, YOU KNOW, SO, BUT YOU KNOW, WE JUST NEED TO HAVE THAT RELATIONSHIP AND HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THEM SO WE CAN MOVE FORWARD AND GET THIS DONE.

OKAY.

YOU MENTIONED, UH, JACK IS STARTING TO TAKE OR GOING TO BE TAKING THE FRONT ENTRANCE OFF SOON.

YES SIR.

WHAT ARE YOU REPLACING? I MEAN, HOW ARE YOU PUTTING BACK DOORS AND OR DO YOU HAVE WELL, THE CURRENT DOORS ARE STILL THERE.

YEAH.

OKAY.

ORIGINAL.

IT'S GONNA BE, EVERYTHING'S STILL THERE.

IT'S JUST SITTING ON THE OUTSIDE.

OKAY.

YEAH.

I MEAN OKAY.

THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT'S COMING OFF.

OKAY.

THAT'S WHAT THEY ADDED.

ALL RIGHT.

GOT IT.

JUST TRYING TO, I CAN'T MAKE 'EM HAPPY.

GET THE PROCESS GOING.

YES.

REMOVE THE THING THAT THEY'RE REALLY GRAPPLING AND LOUD US ABOUT.

JUST GO AHEAD AND GET IT OFF THE BUILDING.

THAT'LL BE ORIGINAL SIDEWALK.

DO ANYTHING ELSE? ORIGINAL.

EVERYTHING'S STILL UNDER IT.

OKAY.

UM, I DON'T THINK, THINK THEY TOUCHED THE SINGLE THING.

OH, IT STILL HAS A SIGN.

COMAN COUNTY COURTHOUSE.

IT'S STILL THE INSIDE, STILL IN THERE.

SO IT'S, UH, EVERYTHING'S THING I THINK IS STILL THERE.

YES, SIR.

WELL, I JUST WANT MAKE CLOSE HERE.

UH, YES.

EVERYTHING IS STILL THERE.

THE, THE ONLY THING THAT I WANT TO JUST BRING ABOUT IS THE, THE HANDICAP, UH, ACCESS TO THE DOOR.

UM, I THINK THE WAY IT'S SET UP, I DON'T THINK IT REALLY COMPLIES NECESSARILY THE WAY IT IS RIGHT NOW.

SO PART OF THE PROPOSAL WAS TO REWORK A LITTLE BIT OF THAT ENTRANCE, UH, AS THEY'RE COMING INTO THE, TO THE BUILDING.

SO WHEN THEY TEAR THAT OUT, THERE'S A COUPLE OF SITE AREA, UH, RAMPS THAT WE WILL HAVE TO PUT IN THAT'S FINE.

AND MAKE SURE THAT FLOOR IS KIND OF SET UP CORRECTLY.

SO, GOOD.

I JUST WANNA, OF COURSE THE BUILDING WILL BE VACANT WHEN THEY REMOVE THE FRONT.

IT'S STILL GONNA BE VACANT.

OH YEAH.

SO YOU STILL HAVE TO DO THE ADA COMPLY EVEN THOUGH IT'S VACANT.

WELL, WE NEED TO DO IT BEFORE IT OPENS ANYWAY.

WELL, BEFORE IT OPENS.

YES.

BUT, YOU KNOW, BEFORE THAT, BEFORE THAT PURPOSE.

ABSOLUTELY.

WELL MAKE SENSE.

OKAY.

AND UH, THE OTHER THING I WAS GONNA MENTION EARLIER, UM, THERE'S GONNA BE A, I JUST WANNA BRING IT UP.

THE, THE CHALLENGE OF TRYING TO GUT OUT THE PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND ALL THE H B A C, TO WHAT EXTENT WE'RE GONNA DO THAT RELATIVE TO HOW MUCH WE WANT TO KEEP ON, ON THOSE WALLS, ON THE EXISTING WALLS.

WHAT WAS YOUR BID BEFORE IN DOING THAT FOR THE H V A C? LET ME LOOK HERE RIGHT QUICK.

UH, THE, UH, THE, UM, COST ESTIMATE THAT WAS PROPOSED ON BACK IN AUGUST.

UM, IT WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION OF GUIDING PRETTY MUCH THE INTERIOR OF THE WHOLE BUILDING.

YES.

SO ALL THE WALLS THAT WOULD INCLUDE EVERYTHING AND JUST LEAVE IT UP TO THE, UH, STAIRS AND THE ELEVATOR.

YEAH.

THE, AND THEN WALK THE INTERIOR AND OUR, WE HAD OUR ENGINEER LOOK AT THE YEAH, WE, I DON'T THINK WE NEED TO DO ALL THAT GUTTING.

THAT'S WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NOW.

OKAY.

WE, WE HAD THE ENGINEER LOOK AT THE EQUIPMENT AND I THINK THEY SAID THE, THE, THE BOILER AND THE YEAH.

WE, WE WERE KEEPING THE EQUIPMENT CHILLERS, THE MAIN EQUIPMENT IS CHILLERS THE MAIN EQUIPMENT.

THE MAIN, THE MAIN PIECES.

BUT ALL THE DUCT WORK.

YES.

IT WAS GONNA BE TO, TO BE REDONE.

THE MAIN

[00:20:01]

DUCT WORK, WHICH IS, UH, 130 POUND, UH, TANS.

WE WILL REUSE THAT.

OKAY.

IT'S JUST GONNA BE REWORKED, UH, FOR THE NEW LAYOUT.

THAT WAS, THAT WAS THE SURE.

PROPOSED IDEA.

ALL RIGHT.

AND THE OTHER THING, I JUST WANNA MAKE SURE THAT, UH, BRING IT UP.

UH, I KNOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE, UH, KEEPING THE COURTROOM FOR A COMMISSIONER'S COURT.

UM, THE ONLY QUESTION I WILL HAVE IS THE COURTROOM IS SET UP FOR A COURTROOM LAYOUT.

YES.

NOT FOR A COMMISSIONER.

RIGHT.

SO IS THE IDEA BEHIND THAT, TO LEAVE ALL THAT MEAL WORK AS IS AND KIND OF REUSE IT FOR A COMMISSIONER'S COURT? OR IT IS ACTUALLY GONNA BE TEAR OUT AND REWORKED.

JUST LIKE HERE.

WE'RE JUST, THEY MAY BE SIMILAR TO THIS RIGHT HERE.

OKAY.

THE JUDGE'S BENCH IS NOW AND EVERYTHING.

YES.

YES.

THAT WILL MAKE SENSE.

UH, I JUST WANNA MAKE, I, I MAKE SURE BECAUSE AS, AS WE ARE THINKING ABOUT KEEPING IT, TO WHAT EXTENT ARE WE KEEPING, ARE WE KEEPING THE LAYOUT OF THAT, THAT BENCH OR, OR NOT? SO RIGHT.

FROM WHAT I'M HEARING IS REWORKING THAT BENCH.

YES.

OKAY.

THANK YOU.

YOU WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING ELSE? QUESTIONS? MS. KERRY, DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? SIR? ARE WE CLEAR ON ALL THE DEPARTMENTS THEN THAT ARE GOING IN ? NO.

NO, BECAUSE WE, OKAY.

WE STILL HAVE TO, WE'RE GONNA MEET WITH EACH, WE GOT A ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO'S GONNA BE WATCHING.

OKAY.

YEAH.

IT SEEMS LIKE WE HAVE TO REVISIT THAT QUESTION.

YEAH.

OKAY.

YEAH.

WELL I THINK I WAS GONNA CLARIFY SOME OF THE CONVERSATIONS WHEN WE WERE MET OVER THERE TO LOOK AT IT.

THE CHILDREN IS ON THE ROOF AND BOBBY'S HERE, IT'S FAIRLY NEW OR RELATIVELY NEW.

YOU KNOW, WE'LL HAVE TO TAKE IT DOWN CAUSE WE'RE GONNA REROOF AND PUT IT BACK.

BUT THAT'D BE A COST SAVINGS.

AND IN THE FUTURE, IF IT GOES OUT, IT'S EASILY REPLACED CAUSE IT'S OUTSIDE.

RIGHT.

I THINK IT WAS TALKED ABOUT THE BOILERS.

POSSIBLY LOOK AT REPLACING THOSE.

CAUSE NEWER BOILERS ARE A LOT MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT.

IT MAY WANNA JUST DO THAT AS AN ALTERNATE.

HOW OLD ARE THOSE BROTHERS THAT ARE THERE? THAT ONE IN THE BASEMENT'S PRETTY OLD.

I DON'T KNOW THE EXACT DATE ON IT.

THERE'S A, THERE'S A CERTIFICATE ON THERE.

I CAN GET THAT INFORMATION.

OKAY.

THAT'S SOMETHING WE NEED TO LOOK AT COMPLETELY REPLACING EVERYTHING.

CHILLER BEING CLEARLY NEW WAS TALKED ABOUT NOT DOING IT BECAUSE OF THAT.

AND THAT WAS EVEN BOBBY WAS OKAY.

YOU KNOW, DISCUSSED THAT.

SO JUST KIND OF EVERYBODY AWARE OF IT.

OKAY.

THAT'S SOMETHING WE NEED TO GO AHEAD AND ESTIMATE IT PART ANYWAY.

OKAY.

JACK? YES, SIR.

OH, I'M KIND OF LATE TO THE PARTY.

BUT I KNOW BACK IN, BACK IN THE DAY THERE WAS DISCUSSION ONCE YOU SPENT A CERTAIN DOLLAR AMOUNT THAT YOU HAD TO MAKE THE ENTIRE BUILDING ADA, UH, CAPABLE.

IS THAT RIGHT? SO THAT'S WHAT WE'RE DOING.

YES.

UPSTAIRS AND ALL THAT WE'RE GOING.

RIGHT.

WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO MAKE IT, YOU KNOW, IF WE'RE GONNA SPEND THAT MONEY, IT'S KINDA LIKE TEARING THAT ASIDE OFF THE FRONT RIGHT NOW.

WE'RE PROBABLY NOT GONNA MEET THE THRESHOLD, EVEN TOUCH IT AT THE MOMENT.

YOU KNOW, WE'RE STILL KIND OF RESERVED, BUT WE WILL, I MEAN, THERE'S NO QUESTION.

SO WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO, AND IT NEEDS TO BE COMPLIANT, RIGHT? YEAH.

THERE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO OKAY.

MAKE THE RIGHT KIND OF RAMPS AND, AND MAKE HANDICAPPED BATHROOM AND, AND DIFFERENT THINGS.

BUT WE DO HAVE A COUPLE BATHROOMS. SO IT, I DON'T KNOW IF UNDER THE LAW, IF EVERY SINGLE BATHROOM HAS TO BE HANDICAPPED OR IT'S JUST YES.

WE'RE GONNA GO AHEAD AND MAKE IT THAT WAY BECAUSE THAT WAS, THERE WAS SOME TALK ON THE OLD ONES BEING KIND OF HISTORICAL.

YEAH.

I MEAN, UH, NO, THEY WERE HISTORICAL KIND OF BATHROOMS AND SO I DIDN'T KNOW IF YOU COULD COME BACK AND THEY WE'LL FIND THAT OUT.

YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN? I KNOW YEARS AGO WE WERE GONNA DO SOME MINOR WORK ON THE RESTROOMS AND, AND WE WEREN'T ABLE TO IT BECAUSE YEAH.

CAUSE THEY'VE GOT HISTORICAL, WELL, SPECIAL TILE THAT THEY DON'T MAKE ANYMORE.

YOU KNOW, ALL KINDS OF STUPID THING.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, BASICALLY YOU HAVE TO HAVE A RESTROOM ON EACH FLOOR THAT WOULD BE HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE.

PEOPLE BE COMPLIANT.

BUT LIKE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIGHT THERE WHERE THAT COURTROOM IS, WHERE YOU COME IN, WE HAVE A BATHROOM IN THERE AND YOU CAN, YOU COULD BUILD ONE RIGHT IN THE CENTER THAT ACTUALLY WAS HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.

YOU JUST SEE WHAT I'M SAYING? AND I DON'T KNOW IF THERE'S ONE DOWN THERE.

YOU COULD PROBABLY PUT ONE ABOVE IT IN THE SAME SPOT.

NEARLY.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, THAT'S JUST, I I MEAN GREG, YOU EVERYTHING ELSE YES, JACK, WE TALKED ABOUT.

OKAY.

BUT I MEAN, THAT MIGHT BE A COST THING THAT MIGHT MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOO IN THE, IN THE JUDGE.

I'LL HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION.

I'M ASSUMING BACK IN THE DAY WHEN, WHEN WE WENT THROUGH THE PROCUREMENT SIDE ON BIDDING OUT THE PROJECTS FOR THE JUSTICE CENTER AND THEN OTHER TWO BUILDINGS, ALL THIS WAS INCLUDED.

SO WE, WE, I ASSUME SO.

IT WAS OKAY.

OKAY.

GOOD DEAL.

ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU GUYS.

ANYTHING ELSE NEED? WE WILL GET BACK TOGETHER.

OKAY.

SHORTLY.

ALL RIGHT.

SOUNDS GOOD.

AND GET MORE PLANS DONE.

AND IT'S OVERALL BUDGET, IS THAT NUMBER YOU HAVE ON THAT SHEET? IS THAT KIND OF WHAT THE, WE'RE TRYING TO COME IN OKAY.

UNDER THAT.

ALL RIGHT.

OKAY.

BECAUSE IT ALL IMPACTS THINGS.

.

YEAH.

KNOWING WHAT THAT IS.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

GOOD.

YEAH.

CAUSE I THINK THE AC PLUMBING TOGETHER WAS ABOUT FOUR A MILLION DOLLARS.

ALL RIGHT.

Y'ALL HAVE ANYTHING ELSE? ONE.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THANK YOU.

MM-HMM.

.

OKAY.

SO LET'S MOVE ON TO NUMBER TWO.

[2. Discuss/Consider the Commissioner's Court agenda process and deadlines.]

DISCUSS, CONSIDER THE COMMISSIONER'S COURT AGENDA

[00:25:01]

PROCESS AND DEADLINES.

UH, IF YOU WILL LOOK, ANNABEL SENT YOU MY OWN.

I CAN SEE I SEND SOMETHING ON THAT.

THE CURRENT HERE AREA.

OUR CURRENT AGENDA PROCESS, THURSDAY NOON IS A DEADLINE FOR ITEM SUBMISSION.

THURSDAY AFTERNOON, PRELIMINARY DRAFT TO GO OUT.

AND FRIDAY THE AGENDA IS POSTED FOR TUESDAY MEETING.

I WOULD LIKE TO MOVE THAT BACK A DAY FOR EACH ITEM, BECAUSE SOME OF YOU'RE NOT IN THE OFFICE ON FRIDAYS.

THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU MUCH TIME OR ANY TIME TO RESEARCH ANYTHING THAT'S ON THE AGENDA OR TO ASK QUESTIONS.

SO IF YOU DON'T MIND, I'D LIKE TO MAKE WEDNESDAY AT NOON DEADLINE FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS AND THEN THAT WOULD MAKE THURSDAY THE FINAL DRAFT WOULD GO OUT.

AND THEN ANY ITEM THAT'S A NEW ITEM FOR CONSIDERATION, WE'LL HAVE TO VOTE ON IT.

UNLESS IT'S AN EMERGENCY, THAT ITEM HAS TO WAIT TILL THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO BE VOTED ON TO GIVE YOU PLENTY OF TIME TO DO YOUR RESEARCH.

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? MM-HMM.

, THAT WAY WE'RE NOT IN A HURRY TO PASS UP AND THROUGH.

WE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE TIME IN DOING OUR DUE DILIGENCE.

YEP.

AND, AND THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.

I MEAN THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION.

WHENEVER, WHENEVER YOU, I, WE, I KNOW THIS IS THE, THE SECOND GO AROUND.

WE'VE HAD THESE CONVERSATIONS.

WHENEVER YOU SUBMIT SOMETHING TO BE PUT ON THE AGENDA, WE ASK IN SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION, BE WITH THAT AND THAT THAT ELIMINATES OF COURSE THAT AND AND WAITING A WEEK TO ELIMINATES THE FIVE MINUTE DECISION OR TWO MINUTE DECISION MAKING PROCESS.

RIGHT.

BEEN BECOMING TRADITIONAL OR WAS BECOMING WELL IF YOU'VE GOT SOME OTHER ELECTED OFFICIAL DEPARTMENT INVOLVED IN THIS AND THEY'RE NOT HERE THAT DAY CUZ THEY'RE SCHOOL, THEY'RE SICK, WHATEVER.

WE DON'T NEED TO BE MAKING A DECISION FOR THEM IF THEY DON'T HAVE ANY INPUT.

YEAH.

BUT JUST WHATEVER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION NEEDS TO BE PRESENTED WHENEVER THEY PUT IT, WHEN THEY ASK TO PUT IT ON THE AGENDA, PUT YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION ON THERE.

IF IT'S NOT THERE, THEN ANNABELLE WILL NOT PUT IT ON THE AGENDA.

YEAH, THAT'S FAIR ENOUGH.

FAIR ENOUGH.

WORKS FOR ME.

CAUSE OKAY.

I THOUGHT, I THOUGHT ME AND YOU PASSED THAT ONCE BEFORE.

BEFORE WE DID, BUT GOT CHANGED.

OKAY.

FIVE YEARS AGO YOU YEAH, FIVE YEARS AGO.

WE'RE GOING BACK TO THAT.

OKAY.

RENOVATIONS.

COMMISSIONER MOORE, SECONDED.

ALL IN FAVOR SAY AYE.

AYE.

AYE.

YOU KNOW, IT JUST KIND OF OCCURRED TO ME THAT, YOU KNOW, THE, I KNOW THE ARCHITECTS WALKED OUT, YOU KNOW, BUT ONE OF THE THINGS THEY ASKED ABOUT WHAT WOULD BE IN THERE, I MEAN, CAUSE IF WE KEEP THIS BUILDING AND STUFF LIKE THAT.

SO WE NEVER SPECIFICALLY SAID THAT AND WE NEVER REALLY HAD A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHERE WE WANTED TO GO.

AND BEFORE, WHILE WE WAS DOING ALL THE FORMALITIES TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION, I WAS JUST KIND OF JOTTING DOWN SOME OF THE DEPARTMENTS, YOU KNOW, THAT, THAT, YOU KNOW, ON THIS DEAL THAT, BUT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, FIRE MARSHAL'S, OFFICE, COUNTY CLERK, CIVIL, UH, COUNTY JUDGE COMMISSIONER, PRECINCT ONE, COMMISSIONER PRECINCT FOUR, AG AGRILIFE QUESTION MARK.

I, YOU KNOW, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANNA DO WITH THEM.

IT WAS ONE THAT, UH, I DON'T KNOW THAT IF THEY HAVE A APARTMENT OF PLACE YET, BUT BETWEEN THE TWO BUILDINGS, YOU KNOW, I MEAN WE NEED TO GET EVERYBODY THAT'S IN THESE SATELLITE OFFICES IN THESE TWO BUILDINGS THAT DON'T HAVE A HOME.

SO WE REALLY NEED TO CONTACT LIKE, MONIQUE, HOW MUCH ROOM YOU GONNA NEED? I KNOW IT'S SOME OF IT'S DRAWN ON HERE, BUT IS THAT ADEQUATE? NOT ADEQUATE? YEAH.

YEAH.

SEE AND THAT'S KIND OF, I MEAN SOMEONE PUT IT ON HERE, BUT WITHOUT TALKING TO, TO THOSE FOLKS.

YEAH.

YOU AND TWO, YOU KNOW, WHENEVER WE, WE'VE GOT THE TWO BUILDINGS FOR ALL OF THESE DEPARTMENTS HERE TO UTILIZE BOTH THESE BUILDINGS, UM, YOU KNOW, MAYBE WE DON'T WANT TO EVEN CONSIDER DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO FRESHEN UP THE BASEMENT BUT NOT ACTUALLY PUT PEOPLE DOWN IN THE BASEMENT UNLESS WE JUST REALLY HAVE TO IN THE FUTURE.

YEAH.

YEAH.

BUT YOU KNOW, I MEAN, I THINK THE FIRST TWO LEVELS WOULD BE WORKABLE WITH WHAT WE HAVE HERE TO GET EVERYBODY SPACES AND IT'S GONNA REMAIN TO BE SEEN IS TO WHAT THEY DO OR DON'T NEED.

YEAH.

YEAH.

YEAH.

SO, BUT THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT THE ARCHITECTS NEED TO TALK CUZ THEY SAID YOU NEED TO REACH OUT TO YES.

SO, AND IS, IS THERE STILL MOISTURE WATER ISSUES WITH THE BASEMENT? THERE IS.

SO I HAVE TO BE REAL CAREFUL WHO OR WHAT GOES IN THE BASEMENT UNTIL MAYBE THEY CAN BE, THEY CAN FIX THAT, WHATEVER.

YEAH.

THAT'S WHAT WE'RE HOPING THAT MAYBE, YOU KNOW, THEY'LL, THEY'LL DEAL WITH THAT IN THERE PROCESS.

OKAY.

OKAY.

BUT I JUST, I JUST WANTED TO KIND OF GIVE THE ARCHITECTS OR YOU REACH OUT TO THE ARCHITECTS.

OKAY.

AND SAY EVERYBODY THAT'S IN THE SATELLITE BUILDINGS, WE HAVE TWO BUILDINGS TO PUT 'EM IN.

MAKES SENSE.

AND THEN OF COURSE WE DO HAVE TO HAVE THE, UH, CONVERSATION ABOUT FACILITIES AND ELECTIONS, WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO THERE, WHICH IS ANOTHER DEAL.

BUT THAT'S ANOTHER ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED FAIRLY SOON.

YEAH.

OKAY.

WELL EVEN THE DIRECTOR OF FACILITIES CAN BE IN THE COURTHOUSE.

YEAH.

HAVE AN OFFICE THERE.

YEAH.

THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE.

YOU KNOW? YEAH.

OKAY.

ANYONE HAVE ANY FURTHER COMMENTS? NOPE.

IF NOT, ANY MOTION TO ADJOURN? I'LL MAKE THAT MOTION TO ADJOURN.

MR. PHELPS, HE LOVES MAKING THAT MOTION TO ADJOURN.

NEED A SECOND? I'LL SECOND MR. BARBARA SECOND.

ALL IN FAVOR SAY AYE.

AYE.

MOTION CARRIE.

THANK YOU JUDGE.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
