THE KAUFMAN COUNTY COURT AT LAW WITH JOSEPH RUSSELL HAD 4,093 VOTES.
DEBORAH BONNER, 1,975 VOTES RICK HARRISON 3,956 VOTES.
AND KAREN BADGLEY 3,352 VOTES FOR A TOTAL OF 13,376 VOTES WITH EIGHT PROVISIONALS.
COMMISSIONER PRECINCT ONE TERRY CROW 1,721 MIKE HUNT, 1,601.
EXCUSE ME, JIMMY JOE LIK 1,191 FOR A TOTAL OF 4,513 VOTES WITH SIX PROVISIONALS.
NOW THIS IS ONLY THE TWO LOCAL RACES THAT WENT TO THE RUNOFF RIGHT.
FOR THE MAY 28TH REPUBLICAN PRIMARY RUNOFF.
THE TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES WAS 3,140.

AS YOU KNOW, THIS IS A LIVING DOCUMENT AND WE'RE CONSTANTLY LOOKING TO, UM, CORRECT ANY, UH, TYPOS OR ADD ANY LEGISLATIVE, UH, UH, APPROVALS THAT WE CAN USE IN OUR REGS.
AND ALSO ANYTHING WE ENCOUNTER ON A DAILY BASIS IN DEVELOPMENT WE REALIZE NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO OUR REGULATIONS.

SO WE MADE SURE THAT WE PUT IN THERE WE NEED SOMETHING FROM THAT CITY SHOWING YOU, YOU, YOU WERE ALLOWED TO DE ANNEX OR YOU ARE PROPERLY DE ANNEX BEFORE WE WILL ACCEPT A PROJECT.
SO WE ADDED THAT INTO THE REGS.
UM, WE ALSO ADDED, UM, AS YOU KNOW, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO WORK ON THE STORM WATER.
WE'VE NOW REQUIRED THE SW TO BE BROUGHT TO OUR OFFICE BEFORE THE PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING.
THAT MEANS THAT YOU DID WHAT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WITH TCAQ AND WE WILL ARCHIVE THAT SWIP.
IT ALSO LETS US KNOW, UM, BY REVIEWING THAT SWIP WHAT'S REQUIRED AT THAT CONSTRUCTION SITE SO THAT AS WE'RE GOING BY WE CAN SEE IF THEY'RE DOING WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO.
SO WE HAVE ADDED THAT INTO OUR REGULATIONS TO ENSURE THAT THOSE ARE PROPERLY BEING DONE.
UM, DRAINAGE IN BETWEEN HOMES WITH THESE DENSITY LOTS SO SMALL, WE HAD TO GO AHEAD AND, AND TRY TO GET SOME MORE DRAINAGE IN THERE BECAUSE WE CAN'T HAVE ANY LOT TO LOT DRAINAGE.
SO IF YOU'LL NOTICE WE ADDED THE, UM, THE UH, SIDELINES AND THE REAR LINES SO THAT WE CAN MAKE SURE THE DRAINAGE IS GOING COMPLETELY AND STAYING WITHIN THE LOT SO THAT THE HOUSE WHEN THEY BUILD IT DOESN'T END UP PUSHING WATER.
SO THAT'S WHAT THAT SECTION IS.
ANOTHER ONE ON SWIP, YOU KNOW, 'CAUSE WE HAVE TO ADD IT IN EVERY SECTION THAT IT APPEARS IN THE BOOK.

UM, AND THEN THE BIGGEST ONE IS SOLAR FARMS. WE HAVE THREE WORKING SOLAR FARMS RIGHT NOW.

SO WE DECIDED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE SOLAR FARMS, THERE ARE THINGS THAT WE REQUIRE, UH, INFRASTRUCTURE DESIGN PLAN SO WE KNOW WHERE ALL THEIR LINES ARE GONNA BE AS WELL AS A RECLAMATION AGREEMENT.
RIGHT? WE WANNA MAKE SURE THAT WHEN THE SOLAR FARM LEAVES, IT TAKES ITS STUFF WITH IT AND DOESN'T CREATE AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE.
SO WE DID MAKE SURE TO ADD THAT INTO OUR REGS SO THAT IT WAS, YOU KNOW, 'CAUSE WE CON CONSTANTLY GET, WELL WHERE IS IT WRITTEN? SO WE MADE SURE IT WAS WRITTEN OKAY.
AND THEN, UM, THAT TAKES UP LIKE A TWO PAGE ONE.
AND THEN WE DID CLARIFY THE BUSINESS DAYS BECAUSE IF THE COUNTY'S CLOSED, THAT'S NOT A BUSINESS DAY FOR THE COUNTY.
SO WE JUST MADE SURE THAT THEY WERE AWARE THE 10 BUSINESS DAYS WAS OFF A COUNTY CALENDAR.

BACK UP.ALRIGHT, ONE MORE TIME TO DISCUSS AND APPROVE THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT IN THE AGREEMENT IN ETJ AUTHORITY AND LAND USE AND REGULATIONS BETWEEN KAUFFMAN COUNTY AND THE CITY OF FORNEY.
SO WE DID ACTUALLY HAVE IES BACK EARLY, BUT WE NEEDED A UM, ETJ MAP THAT'S ATTACHED BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO TELL US WHAT THEIR ETJ BOUNDARY IS.
WE CAN'T JUST ASSUME WELL THEY WERE WORKING ON SOMETHING SO THEY, THEY FINALLY SENT THE MAP SO I CAN GET THIS ON THE AGENDA.
UM, WE ARE STILL WORKING TO GET THOSE AMENDMENTS.
I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SOME OF YOU ASKING FOR YOUR HELP BECAUSE IT'S JUST NO ANSWER, NO CALL, NO NOTHING.
