THOSE WERE MORE OF FOLKS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTY THAT WERE MORE OF MORE POLICY, UM, ADMINISTRATION TYPE FOLKS.

AND THEN WE HAD ANOTHER COMMITTEE FOR THE US 80 CORRIDOR, WHICH MORE TECHNICAL FOLKS, REALLY MORE DEPARTMENT HEADS, THINGS LIKE THAT FROM THE VARIOUS COMMUNITIES AFFECTED, UM, ALONG THE US 80 QUARTER.

SO WE REALLY HAD A ROBUST SET OF INPUT.

AND THE INPUT DIDN'T REALLY JUST STOP AT, AT MEETINGS.

I MEAN, WE, WE HAD OUTREACH, THE INITIAL SET OF WHAT WE CALL TOWN HALLS IN JANUARY OF 2016, WHERE WE HAD THREE SEPARATE MEETINGS.

ONE IN TER, ONE IN 41 HERE AT, AT TVE BUILDING.

WE CALLED SMALL CITIES.

UM, AND THEN A SECOND ROUND OF TOWN HALLS, UH, HERE THIS PAST, UH, AT THE END OF MARCH WHERE WE WENT OUT TO THE COMMUNITIES AGAIN.

SO, YOU KNOW, SHOWING THE DRAFT PLAN, AND THAT'S THE DRAFT PLAN THAT'S UP ON THE PROJECT WEBSITE, BUT OBTAINING FURTHER FEEDBACK, IS THERE ANYTHING YOU MISSED TO VOTE ON? AND, AND REALLY TO THAT, TO THAT END, WE'VE ALSO, THERE'S BEEN OTHER ISSUES THAT HAVE CROSSED UP.

SO THERE'S THINGS THAT WE'RE STILL TWEAKING THE DOCUMENT A LITTLE BIT.

THE BOTTOM LINE THAT THE OVERALL COUNTY PLAN HAS BEEN, UH, OUT TO THE COUNTY, UM, SINCE MARCH IS THE PLAN THAT WE'RE REALLY BUILDING FROM.

SO, UM, AND I JUST WANTED TO HIGHLIGHT THOSE THINGS BECAUSE THIS, THIS INVOLVEMENT HAS REALLY BEEN WHAT WE SEE IS THE KEY TO THE SUCCESS OF THIS PLAN OF KIND OF COLLABORATION THAT'S OCCURRED, UM, WITH ALL THE COMMUNITIES AND AGENCIES.

SO, YOU KNOW, I HAVE A, A SLIDE THERE ON WHY WE WANT TO DO ALL THIS PLANNING.

UH, BUT THEN ALSO KEY OUT THE PLAN IS THE FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION NETWORK.

UM, AND TO A CERTAIN DEGREE, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF PRESSURES IN THE NORTHWESTERN SECTOR OF THE COUNTY TOWN, UM, THAT'S WHERE GROWTHS OCCURRING.

BUT IN 20 YEARS, THAT GROWTH IS GONNA BE BEYOND THAT.

IT'S GONNA BE IN THE, IT'S GONNA BE IN CITY PROPER.

AND SO YOU'RE GONNA BE FACED WITH, AS YOU ALL AS DECISION MAKERS, YOU KNOW, THE COMPETING ISSUES OF GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT VERSUS MOBILITY.

THOSE, THOSE, THAT KEY BATTLE WILL GO ON DAILY.

AND, YOU KNOW, YOU'LL HEAR THE COMMENT, WE MOVED OUT HERE FOR A REASON.

WE HEARD FOR THE MOST PART, CORRIDOR EAST OF THE FLOODPLAIN.

UH, THERE WAS ONE COMMUNITY THAT FELL ALLOWED TO BE ON THE WEST SIDE, BUT GIVEN THE EXISTING GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT THAT'S OCCURRED, COST PROHIBITIVE TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

THE IMPORTANT THING ABOUT THAT NORTH SOUTH CORRIDOR IS IT SYNS UP WITH, UH, THE ROCKLAND COUNTY, UH, OUTER LOOP, WHAT THEY'RE CALLING THEIR OUTER LOOP.

SO THAT'S KIND OF A, A HUGE DEAL.

WE HAVE MADE SOME, SOME MINOR ADJUSTMENTS.

IN FACT, STA AND, AND KEVIN MET WITH ROCKWALL COUNTY COMMISSIONER LAST WEEK, KIND OF LOOK AT SOME THINGS, UH, FOR HOW WE MIGHT ADDRESS, UH, ROCKWALL CONNECTIVITY.

SO, BUT THIS IS WHAT THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT AFFECTS THE, THE COUNTY'S BUDGET.

SO WITH THE, IF WE KEEP THE SAME PLAN, UH, WE'LL HAVE A SAVINGS OF $111,120 IS OUR SAVINGS.

OKAY? SO, UH, THEY HAVE LIKE GIVEN US THREE DIFFERENT OPTIONS OF THREE DIFFERENT PLANS.

THERE'S THE PLAN 1100, 1200 AND THEN THE 1200 NGS, WHICH IS A SPECIALIST COST.

SO, UM, THE PLAN 1100 WAS THE ONE THAT DECREASED.

UM, THE 1100 PLAN WOULD BE A $750 DEDUCTIBLE FOR EMPLOYEES WITH A $3,000 OUT OF POCKET, A $25 COPAY AND A $25 SPECIALIST.

SO THAT'S THE OVERALL LOWERING LOWEST PLAN, NOT THE LOWEST.

WE CAN GO EVEN LOWER, BUT THAT'S A PRETTY SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN BENEFITS.

BUT THAT PLAN WOULD COST US, IT WOULD INCREASE THE EMPLOYEE ONLY TO $806, WHICH WOULD COST US $306,000 PER YEAR FOR THAT PLAN.

UM, THE $1,200, A 1200 PLAN WOULD INCREASE OR DECREASE THE DEDUCTIBLE TO A THOUSAND DOLLARS AND DECREASE OUT OF POCKET TO 3000.

IT WOULD KEEP IT OUT OF $30 COPAY, BUT IT WOULD DECREASE A SPECIALIST COPAY TO $30.

SO INSTEAD OF 40 IT'D BE 30 AND THEN THE 1200 IS THE SAME, A THOUSAND

SO THERE WAS A SURPLUS OF MONEY IN THE OVERALL POOL AND THEY DO GET IT OUT ACCORDINGLY AND WE'RE GONNA GET A NICE PRETTY CHECK FOR $190,000.
